Today is my second day in P3 and I`m not hungry. I feel full all the time, and I`m soo scared to eat if I don`t feel like.

I think my weight is starting to stabilize. HATE the first couple of days on P3. What a relief if I'm about past the wild fluctuations! How is everyone else doing?

From P & I:
When the three days of dieting after the last injection are over, the patients are told that they may now eat anything they please, except sugar and starch provided they faithfully observe one simple rule. This rule is that they must have their own portable bathroom-scale always at hand, particularly while traveling. They must, without fail, weigh themselves every morning as they get out of bed, having first emptied their bladder. If they are in the habit of having breakfast in bed, they must weigh before breakfast.

It takes about 3 weeks before the weight reached at the end of the treatment becomes stable, i.e. does not show violent fluctuations after an occasional excess. During this period, patients must realize that the so-called carbohydrates, that is sugar, rice, bread, potatoes, pastries etc, are by far the most dangerous. If no carbohydrates whatsoever are eaten, fats can be indulged in somewhat more liberally and even small quantities of alcohol, such as a glass of wine with meals, does no harm, but as soon as fats and starch are combined things are very liable to get out of hand. This has to be observed very carefully during the first 3 weeks after the treatment is ended otherwise disappointments are almost sure to occur.

Okay - My last injection was yesterday.  My dietitian told me today, I am to start P3 - but only protein for two days (today and tomorrow).  No fruits or high fats and no vegetables or diary - just protein.  She said this would help phase me into P3 while the meds get out of my system.  The goal apparently is not to loose any weight during these two days, but to slowly go back into more food while my body is still not "hungry."  Has anyone heard of this?  Up until this point the diet has been exactly to the protocol.  This is something different, so wanted to get advise.  I'm going to eat a little more protein today, but I'm not going to lie, I'm a little nervous!

I would appreciate any advise!  Thank you!

In the first 3 days of phase 3, I still follow the 500-calorie diet while stop taking the daily hCG hormone. After the three days, I was allowed to eat any amount of food as long as it doesn’t contain sugar or starch.

Are we allowed to eat beans in Phase 3?  Like black beans, pinto beans, etc.  I am not sure if they are considered "starchy".
